The study included an analysis of the public health risk of the spread of antimicrobial- resistant microorganisms and the furcated perspectives autogenous immunobiological preparations’ implementation as an alternative to antimicrobials. Internet resources of scientific journals, normative legal acts of Ukraine, as well as databases of WHO – World Health Organization, WOHA – World Organization for Animal Health, FAO – Food and Agricultural Organization, CDC – Center for Control and of disease prevention in the USA, ECDC – European Center for Disease Control and Prevention, EFSA – European Food Safety Authority, EUCAST – European Committee for Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing were analyzed. An analysis of the data on the spread of resistance to antimicrobial drugs and the danger to the global health care system was carried out. The spread of antibiotic resistance of microorganisms is registered all over the world, endangering the possibilities for effective treatment of infectious diseases and leveling other achievements in the field of health care and medicine, in particular – veterinary medicine. As a result of the implementation of measures to optimize the use of antibiotics, according to ECDC data, positive trends regarding the spread of antibiotic resistance in indicator species of microorganisms are revealed. In Ukraine, as in other developed countries of the world, strict regulations on the circulation of antimicrobial agents have been adopted at the legislative level, which inevitably leads to restrictions on their use. International experience demonstrates that it is advisable to compensate for the limitation of the use of antimicrobial agents with measures aimed at increasing the level of biosafety, in particular by using autogenous immunobiological drugs in particular, for the specific prevention of infectious diseases of bacterial etiology. It is proven that the introduction of new rules regarding the circulation of veterinary antimicrobials and medicated feeds will significantly affect the level of use of antimicrobials in the near future. It is possible to compensate for the use of antimicrobial drugs in the production of livestock products by introducing measures aimed at increasing the level of biosafety, in particular, an alternative to antimicrobial agents is the use of autogenous immunobiological drugs.References
